April Newsletter STAFF NEWS

Congratulations to Laura & Halle We would like to say a huge congratulations to Laura and her husband Liam on the birth of their daughter Halle Gemma Whiteman. Halle was born on Saturday 26th February, weighing 7lb 13oz, and both Laura and Halle have been doing really well this past month!

Welcoming our new Practitioner: Tehmeena Tahira We would like to introduce Tehmeena who has recently joined 22SLN, Tehmeena will be working in all of the rooms until the end of April, she will then move to the Swans Room and will be working Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. Tehmeena has a wide range of experience working with children and she is looking forward to getting to know all of the children. “I am very excited to be joining the 22 Street Lane team! As a Qualified Level 2 Childcare Practitioner and Level 3 Teaching Assistant, I have enjoyed working with a range of nursery and primary school children across Leeds for over 6 years. I love how engaging and creative the environment is here at 22 Street Lane and I’m particularly grateful for the opportunity to contribute my artistic skills and facilitate fun and exploratory learning activities with the children.”

A message from the Child Accident Prevention Trust As Easter approaches, many families will be buying different treats and gifts for their children, but we need to remember to be cautious about the different kinds of mini eggs on offer. They look like the perfect small treat for your little one, but their size means they can block a small child’s airway and cause them to choke. Please stay safe and choose another, larger treat that's safer for your little one.
