Yorkshire Day: Monday 2nd August

August 1st has marked the annual 'Yorkshire Day' celebrations for nearly 50 years and it aims to promote the history and accomplishments of our county. On the following day, we will be celebrating Yorkshire Day on Monday 2nd August and all things Yorkshire. The children will learn more about this wonderful county and the exciting natural wonders that can be found in the Yorkshire Dales, such as Stump Cross Cavern and Malham Cove. They will have a go at making their own Yorkshire flags and will also be able to have some typical 'Yorkshire fayre'.
