Dear Parents and Carers, What a lovely July we have had! The children have had such a wonderful time enjoying the sunshine and water play during Beach Party Week. The children had fun celebrating Bastille Day, Eid and the Euros too. There were lots of fun activities, a French dress-up day and of course a football day to celebrate England getting into the finals. It has been a very exciting time. Congratulations to our Swans children who had their graduation this month too. We are all so proud of them and everything they have achieved during their time at 22 Street Lane Nursery. They all looked very smart in their uniforms and graduation hats when they went up to receive their certificates and yearbooks. It was a special celebration this year as some of the children were part of the very first group of children that came through our doors when we opened back in 2016. The celebrations continued into the afternoon with a special party for the children and their families. August is always touched with a little sadness as we say goodbye to the families who will be leaving us this month. We will miss you all very much and wish the children the best of luck in their new school and nursery environments. But we have lots of fun in store for August as we learn more about Italy as our Country of the Month, as well as celebrating Carnival Week and Yorkshire Day.
