Football Day Celebrations

All the children had a very exciting day on Friday 9th July as they celebrated England winning their semi- finals match in the Euros. We were all very sure that football was coming home, but unfortunately, it was not to be this time. Well done to Italy on winning the Euros and we're sure that the England team will come back stronger during next year's World Cup. There were so many activities available for the children and they loved dressing up in their sports clothes and football kits. The children made their own flags using paints, paper and glue, and even created their own posters and designed their own football kits using a variety of their favourite colours. The children really enjoyed singing their favourite football songs and loved playing football which challenged their physical skills and coordination while they stayed active. They even had a chance at taking their own penalty kicks too.

Olympics Week: Monday 2 nd - 6 th August

At the start of August, we will be holding a special Olympics-themed week to mark the end of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. We will spend the week learning about the Olympics, the medals and the different sports that are covered during the games. The children will also have the opportunity to take part in their own mini-Olympics too and play lots of fun games!
