Hanukkah Celebrations To celebrate Hanukkah, the children learned about how Hanukkah is the festival of light, and why the menorah is lit for eight days, adding another candle each day. The Swans children learned how to say hello in Hebrew which is “Shalom” and they enjoyed playing a traditional Hanukkah game with the dreidel.

Allotment Update Oli and Kim have lots planned for the allotment throughout 2024, they have planted rhubarb and garlic. In February they will be planting carrots, onions, spring onions, beetroot, radish, lettuce and many more. Towards June, they will be looking to start planting pumpkins, squash, cabbage, sprouts, peas and parsnips. We have now acquired some large veg trucks to maximise our growing space.
