Dear Parents and Carers, Welcome to the June Newsletter, and as always, warm greetings to the new families who have joined us recently. We have had another busy month at nursery learning about Eid and exploring Pakistan as our Country of the Month. Woodwork classes have started back up in the Swans Room, where the children have been busy working together to create a bird box for the garden. They have enjoyed getting dressed up in all the protective gear and using different tools to get hands-on with this group project. We also had a special guest at the nursery as 'Ivy the Giant Millipede' came to visit. The children had the opportunity to hold the millipede and enjoyed talking about how many legs it had. For those that wanted to, they were able to hold Ivy and feel her tickly legs as she crawled along their hands. With some warmer weather ahead of us, we will getting active by celebrating the World Triathlon Championship Series, as well as enjoying some new tasty treats during Healthy Eating Week.
