Random Acts of Kindness Day To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, each room planned a variety of thoughtful activities and talked about why kindness matters and the many ways we can show it to others. The children took part in lots of lovely acts, including handing out flowers and homemade biscuits in the local community, taking part in litter picking, and delivering cards and small gifts around the nursery to staff and other children. We were so proud and impressed by the children’s kindness and generosity!

Shrove Tuesday To celebrate Pancake Day, the children had a fantastic time making their very own pancakes, and some of our older children even took part in a very competitive and fun pancake flipping competition! Oli also cooked up a big batch of delicious pancakes for everyone, complete with a choice of tasty toppings, and they even made some for parents to enjoy too. Yummy!

Happy St. David’s Day! On Friday 27th February we honoured Saint David at the nursery, who is the patron Saint of Wales. The children enjoyed some traditional Welsh dishes including: Welsh Cakes, Rarebit and a Welsh Apple loaf. Delicious!
