Chicklets Room News

The Chicklets have had a fantastic October with lots of Autumn-themed activities throughout the month! We explored different messy trays using our transporting skills to explore and move rice to different areas of the tray. We explored further textures of objects such as leaves, twigs and pinecones. The Chicklets also celebrated World Mental Health Day! In celebration of this, the Chicklets had a spa day! They enjoyed listening to calming music and splashing in the bubbly water. The Chicklets also enjoyed a baby massage and relaxation session; we explored cucumber play and enjoyed feeling it on our faces and also eating it! We also enjoyed exploring the baby massage toys on our backs and bodies, this was our favourite part! The Chicklets also enjoyed a lovely walk in the park after our spa day in the afternoon! We also had a few little visitors from one of our older rooms! The Chicklets were really happy and excited to see the Swans! The Swans were such big helpers, and helped the Chicklets with their snack routine; they also helped them to get changed for outside! The Chicklets really enjoyed reading books with the Swans, singing and dancing and popping lots of bubbles with them! We hope they come back and visit us again soon!
