October Newsletter NEWS Diwali Celebrations: W/C Monday 20th October Diwali is the Indian festival of lights, usually lasting five days and celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika between mid-October and mid-November. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”. We will be celebrating Diwali throughout the week, so that all of our children have a chance to celebrate! We will be lighting up the nursery, sampling lots of delicious Indian treats and creating colourful rangoli patterns. If you are celebrating Diwali at home, please share some photos on Tapestry, as we would love to see what you get up to!
