Rosh Hashanah: Tuesday 7 th September

Rosh Hashanah is the 'Jewish New Year' and the celebration of Creation. It begins on the evening on Monday 6th September and ends on the 8th of September. To celebrate, the children will be able to make lots of dishes containing honey, as it's a custom to make sweet treats to represent a sweet new year ahead. Rooms may also make 'Shana Tova' cards (happy new year cards), design their own honey pots, enjoy apple slices dipped in honey and learn the song "dip the apples in the honey" too!
