Yorkshire Aid Convoy: Friday 9th - Friday 16th August On Friday 9th August, our CEO Simon Pollard along with a team of volunteers, joined a convoy of 7.5 tonne lorries to drive roughly 5,000 km on a round trip to help distribute vital aid to those displaced by the war in Ukraine. The team successfully reached Ukraine and delivered a huge amount of humanitarian aid, with a focus to help orphanages and hospitals, who provide life-saving service to young children. We would like to say a big thank you to all our families for your support during the convoy. It has been great to see the children getting involved and helping with fundraising too, by handing out charity pots in our local community, and drawing some beautiful pictures for the children in the orphanages. Every donation that has been made, no matter how big or small made a huge difference! We are so proud to announce that a total of £12,540.86 has been raised for Yorkshire Aid!
