Country of the Month, September 2025: Families Around The World Throughout August we have explored Brazil, linked to Leeds Carnival!

The children enjoyed creating their very own Carnival masks and rainbows using a range of recycled materials and bright colours, making pineapple upside down loaf and also enjoyed some yummy jerk chicken, rice and peas! The children also explored some of the famous landmarks in Brazil, creating their very own versions in the construction area too. Throughout September, rather than focusing on one Country of the Month, we will be getting to know our new children and families joining the nursery and celebrating everywhere that everyone is from. If you have any celebrations or festivals linked to your family that you would like us to add to our annual event calendar, please just let us know!

Uniform Sale We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their donations to our uniform sale and we hope you find the items useful. We raised a total of £308.50 which has been donated to Martin House Children’s Hospice, a truly wonderful cause.
