22 Street Lane Nursery - September 2018 Newsletter

As many of you will be aware we had our Ofsted inspection on Tuesday 21st August. We are absolutely delighted to tell you that we received OUTSTANDING in every area. This is a fantastic achievement and we are immensely proud. The Inspector spent a total of 9.5 hours inspecting the setting, she spent time talking to and questioning practitioners and children, she observed practice within all of the rooms and spent time a long period of time with Alex scrutinising policies and procedures such as safeguarding. She was also very keen to see how the nursery has developed over the past 2 years and our reflective practice. The inspection is graded against four different areas which are; • Effectiveness of Leadership and Management • Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment • Personal Development, behavior and welfare • Outcomes for Children We achieved an Outstanding grade in each of these areas.
