Welcome Back Caitlyn! We would like to welcome back Caitlyn, as she will be returning from her Maternity Leave in June for some ‘Keeping in Touch’ days. Caitlyn will then return to the setting 4 days a week from August, so you may begin to see her around the nursery more. We are looking forward to her being back!

Country of the Month, June 2025: Morocco Throughout May, we learnt all about Spain, and the children enjoyed creating their own interpretations of the Spanish flag, sampling some of the local cuisine and having a go at Flamenco dancing! The children also learnt how to say ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ in Spanish and our older children even practised counting up to 10. Throughout June we will be learning all about Morocco for the first time, linked to the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations at the end of the month. The children will be learning some Arabic, exploring the Sahara desert and learning about some famous landmarks and places in the country such as Marrakech (also known as ‘The Red City’) and Chefchaouen (Morocco’s famous Blue City). If any of our families have visited Morocco before and would like to share any photos of their travels, that would be great. Alternatively, if you have any resources/items linked to the country you would like to bring in, please feel free.
