September Newsletter Goslings Room News

It has certainly been a busy time in the Goslings Room! We started off the month by celebrating the Women’s World Cup and England getting into the final by wearing our football kits and playing football in the Big Garden. We also had tuff trays set up with red pasta and white flour to make the England flag. Despite the weather not being the greatest, we still took advantage of every bit of sun and enjoyed lots of water play using different materials and textures such as rose petals and paint. We even enjoyed fish and chips with peas in cones to celebrate Beach Day at the nursery! We also celebrated Carnival Week during August and the Goslings have enjoyed creating their very own masks using paper plates, feathers, tissue paper and paint! We even enjoyed coloured sand using food colouring to represent the festive carnival colours. Lastly, the Goslings have been very excited to start their settle sessions in the Cygnets Room, as they move on September 4th. They have all shown such great enthusiasm after every settle and are more than ready to take that next step. The Goslings will be very much missed in our room and are looking forward to waving over the balcony when we see them in the Big Garden. We just want to say a big thank you to our wonderful Goslings parents as well, for the support the past year, we will miss seeing you all alongside the children!
