June Newsletter Goslings Room News

It has been a busy few weeks in the Goslings Room; we have been up to lots of exciting activities and adventures, and even had a very exciting visit from the mobile farm. The Goslings were lucky enough to see all different kinds of farm animals, such as alpacas, donkeys, rabbits, goats, lambs and even calves. They were so brave and gentle with the animals and were very good at listening to the instructions too. In the Goslings Room, the children have been showing lots of interest in animals and sea animals. We have had lots of fun tuff trays setups with sharks, whales and more. A few of the children even visited Tropical World to see the animals there. They loved seeing the fish and especially the cheeky meerkats. We also have been learning about Mental Health Awareness Week, with the children enjoying daily yoga and walks to the park, where they enjoyed picking flowers and drawing. The children also have been talking about their emotions and facial expressions - they enjoy recognising each expression, especially during story times! Lastly, we have been enjoying our weekly Shake, Rattle & Boogie sessions with Kimberly. The children have really been enjoying the sunshine and love showing off their favourite moves and being able to have the class on the balcony!
