Cygnets Room News

This month, the children have been celebrating our Country of the Month – Brazil! They explored animals that live in the country, tried on some traditional dancing outfits, and created the colourful flag of Brazil! The children had lots of fun crafting their own versions of the flag using tissue paper, playdough and paint. They enjoyed exploring the vibrant traditions of the famous Brazilian Carnival through colourful crafts, music, and dancing. It was wonderful to see the children’s creativity and enthusiasm shine as they took part in the festivities. The children have also made a fantastic start settling into their new room, showing great confidence and excitement as they explore the new space. We also spent a week focusing on one of our core books - The Gruffalo. The children loved making tasty Gruffalo crumble, creating the different characters from the story, and retelling the tale in their own imaginative ways. Well Done! We would also like to say a heartfelt goodbye to all of our Cygnets. It has been such a pleasure watching them grow and thrive over the past year. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and know they are ready for their exciting new adventures ahead. We will miss them dearly but wish them the very best as they take this next big step!
